End of 2010

Ok I haven't updated for a while - again, life gets so crazy! So I'm going to 'back date' some more posts and try to get up to date with things in our life!!

We had a great Christmas at the Agusti house, life with 2 kids is so much fun and there are so many great memories to be had. The month of December was my last month at home with the boys for my maternity leave. I treasured every moment, slept in when I could and did fun activities with the boys. We did some crafty projects that we still have up in our house 2 months later and even built Caleb's first snowman!

Here are my boys in front of the Christmas Tree:

In getting ready to go back to work, I made some things for my desk. One of the things was this cool dry erase board that I printed with one of my photography vendors. Its so neat and a great size for jotting down important meetings and dates. And of course it has pictures of my boys on it! Love it :)

Bring on the new year!

Cullen | 3 Months

woohoo a portrait session for my own child... Ok doing a session with a 3 month old is far from easy, its a very awkward age for them, they can't sit up, the can't really hold their head up, most of them hate to be on their bellies; they are too big for newborn poses, and don't sleep as much or curl up as well. All these taken into account, I was determined to get some images of Cullen.

Another photographer told me that this was a great age to do Macro Shots of all those cute baby parts, so I tried it and boy was she right! Thanks Andrea! I enjoyed taking these pictures of Cullen, I even have a large print of the macro shots ordered, and I can't wait to see it hanging in his nursery!

Cullen | 12 weeks

I am told daily how much Cullen looks like his dad, I'm so glad because I think Tony is pretty cute myself, but I gotta admit when people don't think your child looks like you at all well sometimes for this hormonal mama I take it a bit offensive. After all I am the one who carried him for 9 months! I finally figured out how to get Cullen to look like me, I bought him this shirt.

Can't you see the resemblance?

Family | Our Family Portraits

We met up with Sarah from Pazy's Portraits to update our family portrait. Chasing around a toddler with a newborn in tow is quite the challenge, but I think she got some great images for us to have forever. You'll see a couple of these featured in our holiday card this year but I don't mind giving you a preview before hand.

to (great) Grandmothers house we go...

I love my Grandma! She is such and important part of my life and I want to share her with my sons. I don't get over to her house as much as I should (or want to) but when we do make it over there we have a blast!

My Grandma came up to the hospital when I had Cullen, but as everyone knows babies change so much, I love how Great Grandma and Cullen are looking at each other in this picture, its so sweet!

A little blurry but with my mommy goggles it is an awesome picture! I just love my boys sitting all happy with their Great Grandma, I know they are so lucky to have one in their lives.

Cousins - what kind of a trip to grandma's would it be without inviting your cousin along. Jonah had so much fun with Caleb in the leaves, Great Grandma's house had a LOT of leaves!

Cullen | 10 Weeks Old

Today, I had a quick minisession at a beautiful park, if you haven't checked out my photography blog lately you should! I've been able to photograph some beautiful people this year. Anyway today I decided to bring Cullen along, the weather was nice and I was able to bring a helper (i.e. grandma) along with me to take care of him while I photographed my client.

Because I always come prepared for an in promtu session for Cullen, and because he was in a great mood, I was able to get some more outdoor photos of him. Isn't he the cutest??

Its Voting Day!

We are lucky to both have good jobs, Tony's job allows him to have election day off of work so he can go vote. It helps immensly to have both of us go into the polls together. I'm not sure I would have been able to go vote if I had to go alone with both of my boys! they are handfuls!

Cullen's first time at the polls - showing off the babyhawk - one of my favorite pieces of baby gear, a definite must have in this house!

Halloween!

Halloween is a major holiday in our house and this year was no exception. We decided to through a kids costume bash in our backyard. We had EXCELLENT weather and everything was wonderful.

I made a lot of yummy goodies!

Here Caleb and Daddy trying out some of our backyard decoratings, don't be scared though the ghost in the background isn't mean!

We were so happy that Caleb's cousin's could come over, Caleb loves Austin so much!

And Aunt Lori - she's so much fun!

Not that I'm biased or anything but I think this costume won the award for the cutest (after my own boys' of course!) I'm pretty sure Mandy and Caleb will love each other one day!

On Halloween day we carved this pumpkin - watch out its swiper the fox!

Here's Caleb posing for the camera on Halloween before going out trick or treating, isn't he the cutest monkey ever!

Awe he loves his sweet pea brother!

Cullen | 2 Months Old!

I can't believe he is 2 months old already. No big photoshoot this month just a monthly picture. such a big change from last month - he actually has hair on top!

And since I knew I'd have the camera out, AND because there are so many beautiful leaves outside. I tried to dress Caleb cute so I could get some fall pictures of him.

I love this boy!

Fall Family Getaway

For the past 3 years we have gone "up north" to traverse city to visit Tony's family. They live a couple blocks from Lake Michigan in a super cute little town called Elk Rapids. In the past we have stayed right there with Tony's Uncle, Aunt and Cousin. This year since we are a family of 4 and quite the handful we decided to stay at Great Wolf Lodge. We also went up a day earlier than we normally do so we could get 3.5 days of fun in! We got an awesome deal on a great room, thanks to friends of the family. Caleb had his own cabin inside of the hotel room complete with his own TV - he just thought that was awesome.

As soon as we got up there we went straight to the waterpark. Caleb had a blast in the many pools and lots of different big water slides. My mother in law went up with us and she helped out a lot with Cullen so we could spend some quality time with Caleb. We didn't get to many pictures taken at the hotel but really that's cause we were so busy having so much fun. Between the waterpark and the dragon slaying it was a trip Caleb will remember for a long time. I even got a pedicure while we were there.

Saturday we spent the day with Tony's family. We went down on the penisula, walked by Lake Michigan and just had a good time.

Caleb

Seems like the posts lately have centered around Cullen lately, today we planned a play date with my neice and nephew, Amber and Austin. Caleb absolutely LOVES them and can't get enough time with them. They got to enjoy a nice day outside in our backyard.
