Graze Box

I heard about Graze box on one of my favorite mommy boards, where I pick up a lot of tricks and trips for parenthood and life.  Graze.com is brand new and not even open to the public yet.  Its another one of those box subscription websites, they have them for everything, for clothing, organic food, makeup, even kids fun/adventure boxes, books, you name it, I'm sure its out there.  Graze is for healthy natural snacks.  They send you samples depending on your likes and dislikes and frequency.  I opted for the box sent to the house every 2 weeks.  The best part?  the first box was free, another bonus?  the 5th box is free, so I get 5 boxes for $15!  So why did I sign up for this?  Well my kids love getting mail, but they are horrible at trying new foods.  So I thought maybe if these foods came in a cute package in the mail they might try it.  Oh and there's chocolate involved (as you can see on Cullen's face).  Check out the pics, the boys were so excited to open up the packages and try the goodies.

Movies on the Cheap!

OK so I know Redbox has been out for a while now, but we just decided to try it for the first time this weekend. I give it 5 stars!!

So previously we had done Blockbuster's home movie thingy, well it was a pretty good deal since we signed up early into its beginning. I think we paid $20 for 3 movies (at a time) unlimited amount of returns to the instore (as soon as you return it you get a new movie in the mail), and we also got credits for free rentals instore (movies and 1 game a month!)

Anyway last year we decided to cancel our blockbuster membership b/c we just weren't using it. The movies would sit at our house all month unwatched so it was $20 down the drain.

Well then Redbox is here and its fantastic. We can decide when we are in the mood to watch a movie, then we just get in the car drive 1 mile to Walmart and check out a movie at their kiosk. It is only $1 per day (plus tax) so as long as we return it the next day we're golden. Tony passes walmart on his way home from work so that's not a big deal.

So go out and watch a movie!! If you sign up online at redbox.com you can get a free rental every month - I think its pretty easy to find coupons online too.

So what movie did we rent first?? Paul Blart Mall Cop and it was pretty funny.

Deal of the Day

So I don't usually post about deals, but I figured what the heck, I haven't been a good blogger lately so maybe this will be a kick off.

So today I went into CVS, needed some milk and just wanted to stop somewhere quick. Upon entering there is now a scanning place to scan your CVS card and get a coupon, so I got a $4 off $20 coupon. Cool but I only need milk... hmm

So on my way back to the milk I decide to look at the diapers and see what they have. We usually get huggies from Costco. Caleb is now in a size 4 (you know the bigger the size the more expensive) maybe that's a plot to get your kid potty trained earlier.

Anyway at Costco the case of 200 diapers is somewhere around $40 and I know I pay $0.21/diaper, I compare all my deals to this. So CVS huggies are uber expensive something like $0.35-0.40 can't remember. I notice the CVS brand diapers are BOGO - umm sweet so here's the deal:

1 pack of 30 - $9.49
1 pack of 30 - $0.00
- ($4.00)
- ($2.00) - got a coupon in the mail!
- ($1.50) - got a coupon last visit at CVS
TOTAL
60 diapers for $1.99 that is only $0.033/diaper

Of course I had to spend more money to qualify for the $20 but hey I needed mothers day cards and milk anyway!!

Gosh I hope these CVS diapers are okay, if not they will be the daycare's problem anyway!!
